Kakapo Class Liturgy

On Wednesday Kakapo class had their class
liturgy. The theme of the liturgy was choices. 2
dramas was preformed by some Kakapo students
the 1st one being an enactment of a bible story and
the second one being about the temptations of life.
A big thank you to father John who celebrated
the liturgy and a big thank you to all the parents
who came as well.

Our masks!

This term in Kakapo, in line with our inquiry on
Space, we have been making paper mache masks
using aliens as a theme. We began by pasting little
torn up pieces of newspaper on a balloon. This
took about 4 weeks to make a thick layer. It was
really boring but we had to be patient. Eventually
Mr Sah cut them in half with a hack saw so we
all had half each. Now we are building features
on top. Have a look at where we are at the moment.
They will be painted and decorated before the end
of this term. We'll post the finished results on the
blog later.

Grandparents Mass

This morning we celebrated a mass with our
grandparents who then came to share a delicious
morning tea and see our class. Here are some of
 the photos with them.
